HIPAA-safe clinical note summarization

Our small clinic runs GLM 5.3 on an on-prem box to summarize visit notes and draft follow-up letters. Patient data never crosses to a third-party API, which is the whole ballgame for HIPAA/compliance - cloud tools are a non-starter no matter how good they are. Local inference is slower than a hosted frontier model, but for structured summarization tasks the quality gap barely matters, and the compliance win is worth it.
