ZCode is Z.ai's free desktop Agentic Development Environment (ADE) and the official harness for GLM-5.2. It combines agent chat, file manager, terminal, Git panel, and live browser preview in an Electron app, with Goal Mode for long-running tasks, multi-agent collaboration, and remote steering from messaging apps. After a 5-day free trial it requires a GLM Coding Plan subscription or a pay-as-you-go Z.ai API key; it also supports bring-your-own keys for Claude, OpenAI, OpenRouter, Moonshot/Kimi, and MiniMax.
