Multiplayer agent harness for work - Slack and web, your own cloud, any model

15,326 stars MIT last push 2026-10-04

QM is Y Combinator's open-source multiplayer agent harness for work, built for Slack and the web. Each employee gets an isolated agent workspace with scoped memory, files, permissions, crons, and a durable sandbox, while teams collaborate through shared channels and projects. It is vendor-agnostic: Pi, OpenCode, Codex, and Claude Code all drive the same core, so a deployment is not tied to any single model provider. It deploys into your own cloud account on Fly.io or AWS via an npm CLI. YC describes it as an early experiment with bugs, used internally across accounting, legal, events, and engineering.
